As our submission guidelines say, we occasionally have short submission periods, starting on the first of the month, as needed. For March, we’d like to see more literary nonfiction for the print magazine! Send your lyric essays, narrative nonfiction, hybrid visual memoir, etc.—ideally less than twenty double-spaced pages. As always, we don’t charge for non-contest submissions.
Here’s a previous post we wrote about what we’re looking for in that genre, and you can also read Literary Nonfiction Editor Kristen Iversen’s statement about what she’s looking for in submissions here.
But don’t dally! That category in our Submission Manager will close on the evening of Monday, March 7.
We look forward to reading your work!
