The time has come when word-lovers of all varieties flock to the annual Association of Writers & Writing Program Conference. We relish meeting our readers, contributors, submitters, and subscribers at AWP each year, and we’re as galvanized as ever to make our way to Tampa in just a few days. Here’s what we’ll be up to:

Monster Mags of the Midwest Offsite Reading:

This annual offsite AWP event never fails to draw a huge crowd. This year, on the eve of the conference, we’ve joined with The Journal, The Mid-American Review, and Ninth Letter to feature writers from our pages: Kaveh Akbar, Hanif Abdurraqib, Traci Brimhall, Kimberly King Parsons, Shara Lessley, and John Nieves.

Join us at the Fountain Mediterranean & Sushi Bistro, 238 E Davis Blvd, Tampa, FL 33606 (have a California roll AND falafel!) on Wednesday, March 7, from 6:30 to 8:30. Here’s the event page on Facebook.

Bookfair and Subscription Incentives:

We’ll be at Booth 412 at the Bookfair, sharing a table with Acre Books. Stop by and say hello! Also, renew your subscription and receive a special incentive as a thank-you gift:

With every one-year subscription ($15), you can pick either a stress-ball in the shape of a hippo or a mobile pocket device, which attaches to your phone for easy transport of credit cards, keys, and cash. With a two- or three-year subscriptions ($28/39) or our special subscription deal with the Monster Mags of the Midwest, you’ll get both!

About that Monster Mags deal: for $40, you get subscriptions to The Cincinnati Review, The Journal, Mid-American Review, AND Ninth Letter! What more could a lit-mag lover ask for?
