Spring might be coming to an end, but the summer contest season is just heating up!
The Cincinnati Review is pleased to announce that we are open for submissions for the 2019 Robert and Adele Schiff Awards in Poetry and Prose from now through July 15th. We’ll choose one poem and one prose piece (fiction or literary nonfiction) for publication in our 2020 prize issue, and the two winners will each receive $1,000.
The entry fee of $20 includes a yearlong subscription, and all entries will be considered for publication, not just the winners. For each entry, send up to eight pages of poetry or one story/essay of up to 40 pages. Please submit entries through our online submission manager here, but not without reading our complete contest guidelines first!
Note to all entrants: If you’d prefer your free subscription in electronic rather than print format, please let us know in the “comments” section of your entry form.
Don’t get burned by the deadline! Polish up your brightest work and dive head-first into the submission pool. The water’s warm.
